Senior citizens are important members of our community.  They are our parents and our grandparents, people who have contributed to the history of our community and our families in so many ways.  But unfortunately there are individuals who do not share the same respect for our senior citizens, who seek to prey upon them, take advantage of their desire to trust others, and victimize them through frauds and scams. 

The Dacono Police Department is committed to reducing the incidents of crimes against our senior citizens, particularly frauds and scams that target them.  One of the best ways to achieve that goal is through education.  By educating our senior citizens about potential frauds and scams the Dacono Police Department is working with the community to prevent crimes from being committed that may in minutes destroy a senior citizen’s lifetime of hard earned savings.
